The Management in Civil Society, Marketing and Fundraising course is accredited by the Institute of Fundraising (IoF), and will be of interest to senior marketing managers or fundraisers in the voluntary and charity sectors.

This course provides a rounded professional understanding of the legal requirements, theories and practices of management in the civil society sector. It focuses on the two functional disciplines vital to any operation: the effective raising and management of funds.

The core objectives of the Charity Marketing and Fundraising course include:

  • Providing opportunities for you to share experiences from your own organisation's perspective
  • Developing a theoretical framework and practical knowledge of fundraising and marketing in civil society
  • Extending your knowledge by the use of research papers and authoritative texts.

As a result, the course contains a mix of academic and vocational subjects ranging from core marketing to more specialist subjects such as online fundraising and other advanced fundraising techniques. Successful completion should help you progress to senior positions in fundraising and marketing management.

The PgCert gives IoF accreditation and is designed as a one year course suitable for major charity employers to use as CPD for existing staff.
